Tresca is pursuing an MA in Theatre & Performance Studies and a Certificate in Arts Administration. Tresca was raised in Mineola, Texas before moving to San Antonio, Texas to attend Trinity University; they graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a minor in Theatre. Tresca published their research paper, "Say 'Yes and' To Improv: It’s Good For Your Brain" in Johns Hopkins' Macksey Journal; co-founded and co-hosts the Such a Nightmare: Conversations about Horror podcast with Dr. Katherine Troyer; and founded the Shakespeare Performance Group, a weekly group for Trinity University students to perform Shakespeare's work. Tresca is one of the co-founders of New Works SA, a San Antonio-based not-for-profit organization, and served as the group's Artistic Director from 2020 - 2022. Tresca adapted & directed New Work SA's first play The Comedy of Romeo and Juliet, a queer, comedic adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, and co-wrote & directed, Girl in the Cocoon, an original musical. Tresca is excited to study how theatre is administered and ways to use theatre to build community!
