(anti)thesis

featuring Gesel Mason

Irey Theatre (Directions)

April 27, 3 p.m.

anti(thesis) collides the genres and cultures of postmodern dance and erotic dance in a contemporary performance that examines how female sexuality is perceived, performed, and (re)presented. Playfully risky and risqué, anti(thesis) experiments with female eroticism as a source of creativity and power and tests the boundaries of appropriateness in the culture and performance of postmodern and erotic dance. This performance is an excerpt of a larger work. Please join us after the performance for a post-show discussion.
