Theatre or Dance Degree in Arts and Sciences

When students earn a degree in the College of Arts and Sciences, not only have they learned about an area in which they are passionate–their major–but they have also developed skills in a variety of areas that qualify them for jobs both related and unrelated to their major.  Thus earning a BA or BFA in Theatre or Dance puts students on the path to a position in the arts field and also helps make them a desirable candidate for any position that requires proficiency in:

    • written and oral communication
    • critical thinking
    • analytical reasoning
    • research and organizational skills
    • collaborative problem-solving
    • project management
    • creative expression
    • improvisation
